1 QM DESIGN

The material: a sheet of plywood, either one square meter in area or one metre on its side. The task: to develop product concepts using the properties of this material. The concepts should be carried out with economy, meaning as few offcuts as possible, and without using additional fixings and fastenings like screws and nails. The result: the optimal transformation of raw materials into a designed product. Prototypes were then developed from the initial form studies and presented in an exhibition. Where they were able to withstand the the scrutiny, handling and questions of the visitors to a dedicated exhibition.
